Absolutely amazing photo, you've taken what could be a rather interesting shot and turned it into pure art. The light is soft and allows the colors to come forward and the light dusting of snow perfectly outlines the shapes of the branches and highlighting the textures of the trees. This is stunning and fantastical.

These trees sure do look like they are performing a stately dance. On my monitor, the snow looks warm - lightly pink compared to the very base of the trees which seems blue-white. I think this helps give them the "movement". I totally see the Tolkein reference, too. Nice knobby features in those trees.

This is amazing! It looks like some Tolkien ents waiting to defend the forest! Very enchanting and beautiful. Wonderful shot. This is one of my favorite photographs I have seen on DA.
